Founded in 2007 and located in Westchester County, New York, Interfaith Prison Partnership is a community-based, interfaith non-profit organization that exists to increase awareness of the inherent value of incarcerated individuals, promote and provide for their welfare, and connect local communities with their neighbors behind bars.

IPP’s Adopt- a -Prison program, which is now being studied for replication on an international level, serves as a bridge between the State’s Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (NYS DOCCS) and faith leaders, organizations, and communities to improve the lived experience of those who are incarcerated, formerly incarcerated, and involved in the corrections system.
