The Suffern High School Class of 1979 Will Shine Forever Memorial Scholarship was established immediately after the 40th High School Reunion to honor those alumni who have passed over the years.

The Larry D. Gabbard Performing Arts Scholarship was created by the Elmwood Playhouse community to celebrate our beloved colleague, educator and community theater member Larry D. Gabbard. A $1,500 scholarship will be awarded annually to a high school senior residing in Rockland County who intends to pursue a career in the performing arts. This includes those intending to major in Performance, Arts Management, Stage Management, or Technical Design.
