The Smarty Pants Daycare Growth Fund was established to help support programs, equipment and resources for this important program that provides affordable daycare to early childhood students.

Founded in 1978, the Montessori Center of Nyack has been serving our community’s children for almost four decades. The school is centered around creating a natural and joyful experience for each child through Montessori learning. The goal of the Montessori Center Of Nyack Growth Fund is to provide funding for in classroom experiences, updated supplies, and to upgrade the playground. Our larger goal is to raise enough capital to resurface the playground and build shade structures.
The Nyack Basics Fund supports a campaign and a movement focused on children 0-3 years of age, when 80% of brain development occurs, to ensure that every child has the same strong start in life.
The Nyack Tower Fund provides private financial support to enhance the structures and fields of the Nyack School District, as well as support projects that have a positive impact on the public health and wellness of the residents of the Nyack Schools community.
“Nancy’s Place,” supports organizations helping children and the animals they love. This fund will aid, among others, organizations that keep children safe from violence; provide food for hungry children; help kids navigate difficult waters of growing up in our society and provide mental health support for those who need assistance.
The Nyack Young Writers Scholarship recognizes two rising Nyack High School seniors, judged to have written and submitted the most outstanding prose or poetry. The scholarship awards $3,500 to the first-place recipient, and $2,000 to the second-place recipient.
The Peggy O’Gorman Leadership Fund offers a scholarship each year, in memorium, to a Nyack High School graduating senior who exemplifies the attributes of leadership, service, scholarship and community.
The John T. & Mary A. Grant Memorial Fund awards grants and scholarships to Rockland County individuals and organizations whose efforts have enhanced our community through community service, the arts or historical preservation.
