The Tuxedo STEM Fund Scholarship is open to non-resident Tuxedo Union Free School District students in grades 9-12 who wish to attend the George F. Baker High School in Tuxedo NY on a full time non-resident tuition basis, and who show demonstrated interest and achievement in STEM related programs/activities.
The Viking Spirit Memorial Scholarship, created by the Class of 1989 honors the memory of classmates from Clarkstown HS South. The scholarship recognizes a Clarkstown HS South senior who demonstrates true Viking Spirit exemplified through community service and scholastic achievement.
The Welles Remy Crowther Red Bandana Memorial Scholarship is a tribute to the courage and heroism of 24- year-old Welles Remy Crowther (The Man in The Red Bandana) who rescued many on 9/11 before he ultimately perished. The scholarship is awarded to a deserving high school graduate choosing to pursue a career in fire and emergency services or health related services.
Judith Johnson was described by Gary Stern of the Journal-News (October 22, 2019) as the “best known educator in the Lower Hudson Valley, who fought for educational equity for decades and represented the region on the state Board of Regents since 2015. Ffour $500 scholarships are typically awarded each year.Recipients must be Rockland County or Peekskill residents interested in furthering their education by attending a college/university or a vocational school. This award is open to previously enrolled and current students. The age range to qualify for this award is 17-26 years old.
