The intent of the funds held at Rockland Community Foundation will be devoted to a rebuild of the shelter, but if the original purpose of the fund is frustrated or exhausted, then the funds can be used for the general needs of the shelter.

ACT for Animals supports groups and individuals who: advocate for animal victims of abuse and neglect, control the number of unwanted pets through responsible spay/neuter and TNR programs and teach compassion for all living things through education based programs.
