Proceeds from this kickoff event will be used to support fund SuffrageForward mission and 2020 year-long programs.
SuffrageForward’s mission is to celebrate and bring awareness to the 100th anniversary of the adoption of the 19th amendment, granting women the right to vote. Therefore, we will be producing events such as film screenings, theatre, music, panel discussions and more, highlighting the women who came before us and empowering the woman of the future to engage the Rockland County community and beyond.
In addition, we intend to work closely with other organizations to join us with their scheduled events.
SuffrageForward is a component of Rockland Community Foundation, a 501(c)(3). In order for us to progress towards our goal, we need support from our neighbors. Be a part of celebrating the courageous women throughout history and making connections in our Rockland County community, and support SuffrageForward today.
